PTC (NASDAQ: PMTC), The Product Development Company®, announced that Softcell Technologies Limited has been promoted to Platinum Partner status. With this, Softcell Technologies, a Mumbai headquartered premier IT products, solutions, and service provider, is now PTC’s first Platinum Partner in the country after successfully reaching the Platinum Partner revenue target set by the organization. From the time of their appointment as a Strategic Service Partner (SSP) in 2005, Softcell Technologies has seen great traction for PTC’s Product Development Systems, including Pro/ENGINEER® (now Creo®) for Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Windchill® for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) from customers across various industry verticals.
Commenting on this, Rafiq Somani, Area Vice President, PTC India said, “We are happy to announce that Softcell Technologies is our first partner in India to achieve the status of Platinum Partner. With a proven track record of sales, service, and support in the last 6 years of our association, Softcell Technologies has played a critical role for us to present the PDS product line to the enterprise business market in India. It was a logical choice for us to promote Softcell to the next level of association.”
Sunil Dalal, Managing Director, Softcell Technologies said, “We are glad to be recognized as PTC’s first Platinum Partner in India. Our strategic partnership with a global company like PTC has enabled us to provide customers with strategic business value in their manufacturing practice. We started with a vision of expanding skills into the mid size enterprise market by providing solutions from PTC’s product line. Being promoted to the next level of partnership with PTC signifies that we have succeeded in pursuing our goal.”
