Will provide intensive industry-focused training in PLM tools like CATIA®, ENOVIA® and SmarTeam®
Pune: EDS Technologies (EDST), India’s largest PLM Solutions and 3D Visual Simulation provider, headquartered in Bangalore, has announced the launch of its training centre in Pune.
This is the third such training centre after successful launch in Bangalore and Coimbatore in April 2008. Pune training centre will provide industry-focused training on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools like CATIA®, ENOVIA® and SmarTeam®. Unlike other CAD/CAM training centres in around Pune, EDST will offer world class, flexible training solutions with largest scope of employment opportunities and competitive advantage. In partnership with the DASSAULT SYSTEMES, CATIA Education Program - EDST Training Centres are uniquely poised to offer domain expertise in the areas of PLM and Engineering Competitiveness specifically aligned to the manufacturing and engineering services industries.
The centre will be targeted towards students in the pre-final and final years from engineering colleges/institutes, unemployed students as well as working professionals seeking to advance their careers. The centre also offers specific training programs to companies who intend to enhance their employee’s specific domain skills and maximize value of the software investment.
The training centre is built on 2200 square feet of area and is well equipped with the necessary infrastructure. The training programs are imparted by industry experts and experienced instructors to deliver up-to-date and consistent engineering education to help students and professionals increase their PLM skills. “Keeping pace with fast-changing technology is a major challenge in today’s engineering education. And that is why our training centre offers high quality, flexible and ready-to-use curricula developed by world-class instructors” said Mr. Prashant Pawar, Country Manager - Marketing. “The program includes a curriculum that comprehensively covers the concepts and advanced features of PLM tools that enable conceptual and detailed designing, besides manufacturing design, resulting in state-of-art knowledge based solutions” he further added.
“Professional certification on CATIA is quickly becoming a major requirement for many positions in the engineering field. The explosive growth in design, engineering and manufacturing segments will require a large number of qualified and trained manpower. Our training centres will help address the staffing needs of the PLM industry by enabling a talent pool that immediately fits their needs. “EDST’s Training Centres will create an employable talent-pool trained on PLM technology. Engineering services and manufacturing sectors will save cost and effort spent on talent acquisition by recruiting from EDST’s Training Centres. The Training Centres provide complete staffing solutions to the PLM industry” said Mr. S. Senthil, President and Co-founder, EDST.
